This is the 2nd part of a 2 part vlog that I put together on how to have a successful phase 3, and why a steak day works.
This is part 2 of a 2 part video on how to have a successful Phase 3. It is for those who are struggling on phase 3. If you are following low-fat and doing okay on phase 3, then this probably doesn’t apply to you. I also discuss why I think steak days work. I hope you enjoy!
Here is another vlog on recommendations for a successful phase 3.
Today is day 5 of phase 3 for me. I’m -2.8 under LDW today! I am eating TONS of fatty foods, at least 100 grams of protein, and VERY LOW carb! If you are trying to eat low-fat and getting frustrated, then this two part video is for you!
Here’s a video that I made on day 2 of Phase 3. I go over my ending stats for round 1 as well as giving a little bit of encouragement to my HCG friends on -0.2 losses. A -0.2 loss is a whole stick of butter!
Everything has been going well, but I reached a decision on VLCD 58. I started craving bacon because my husband had been cooking it in the mornings. The smell was driving me crazy! lol. I decided to go ahead and end this round. My LDW (last dosage weight) was on VLCD 57 at 175.0 lbs even. This will be my goal to maintain on phase 3 until I start round 2. My total weight lost for Round 1 is officially 26.6 lbs in 57 VLCD days.
In this video, I talk about the decision that I made to end my first round of hcg. I talk about my plans for round 2. I plan to do phase 3 for only 3 weeks (supposed to be 6 weeks between rounds!) and jump back in on Round #2 on 8/17/2010. The reason why I decided to do this is because I haven’t done a full round with REAL hcg yet, so I think that I will do just fine! Also, my friend, mr hcgbaldfatman on YouTube is starting a 25 lb challenge on 8/17. The challenge will be to lose 25 lbs in 40 days! Or, if you have less weight to lose, you can do 17 lbs in 25 days or whenever you make your goal weight. The challenge is on Facebook. The link is located here . I think that I can definitely do a 3 week phase 3 and jump back in to do this challenge!
I also talk about myself and the past diets that I have tried. They were too numerous to list, so I didn’t include several others that I tried, including: Susan Powter’s Stop the Insanity, Suzanne Somers, Butter Busters, and a few others!
Today, I talk about what I learned about the dreaded “constipation” word again. Also, I discuss what I used for tennis the night before… Electro-Mix by the makers of Emergen-C. It works AWESOME!! I use a double dose. 2 packets per one liter of water. I went through 2 liters of water last night and 4 packets of Electro-Mix. Woo! It worked great!! It has no calories, either! I talk about a little bit of frustration at the end of my video. If you are my friends, and you are reading this… sorry, but we all have times of frustration. It’s just a fact of life. It’s hard when people around us don’t notice that we have lost weight or that we don’t exist. I don’t like that feeling at all. We need to talk about our feelings and learn to work through it. People need to know that we are only human, and everybody goes through some major emotions when dieting. Enjoy!
Today’s topic: Constipation! LOL. Sorry, but the reality is that people do experience it on this diet! Someone has to talk about it! Plus, I talk about my plans for tennis this week. I’m trying something new! Enjoy!
REAL HCG: 166 IU 2x daily under the tongue (Switched over from homeopathic on VLCD 44)
My weight is going back down! Hurray! Maybe all of the mistakes that I made this week are starting to correct themselves. Like I said yesterday, I messed with my dosage 4 days ago. I think that caused me to have headaches, fatigue, and fluctuations on the scale. Let’s see what happens this week!
I drank my gallon of water yesterday and added back in my 4 tablespoons of coconut oil in my chocolate bark. I also drank two warm cups of flavored tea last night.
For lunch, I had grilled chicken, asparagus, strawberries, and a breadstick.
For dinner, I ate chili made with 96% lean ground beef, tomatoes, and onion. I ate a breadstick with it. It was really good!
