Recall: Ameristep Hang-on Treestands

On June 21, 2005, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the

following recall:

Ameristep Hang-on Treestands from Tahsin Industrial Corp. USA, of Randolph, N.J.

Problem: The treestand's bracket can bend if not secured properly by a
chain and if weight is applied. This can cause the chain to disengage
from the stand, the stand to separate from the tree and the user to
fall and suffer serious injuries.

Problem: The suspension assembly can crack causing the rider to lose
control of the go-kart.

Recall: Serenity Votive Candles

On June 20, 2005, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the following recall:

Serenity Votive Candles from Midwest Cannon Falls, of Cannon Falls, Minn.

Problem: The candles' wax can catch fire, causing a high flame. This can
cause nearby combustibles to catch fire and result in burns to
consumers.

Recall- Children's Fishing Polls

On June 17, 2005, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the following recall:

Children's Fishing Kits from Shakespeare Fishing Tackle Division, of Columbia, S.C.

Problem: The paint on the rods of these fishing poles contains lead. Lead
is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Recall: Kid's Toy Drum Set

The U.S. Consumer Product Saftey Commission announced a recall today of the Kids Station Inc. Musical Drum Set sold at Toys R Us. Small parts could break off and cause a choking hazard in young kids. The drum sets were sold between 08/2004-12/9/2004.

Well, here it goes....

I have been going crazy with this site of mine called Steph's Universe. I have made so many mistakes that I can't even count that high. I was once listed in both yahoo, msn, and google, but now that is all gone. First yahoo and msn left, then my google PR went to 0 this month. I made the awful mistake of placing over 100 links at the bottom of each page. I have corrected most of the pages now. I don't even know if that was the problem. I didn't want to take anymore chances, though. This blogging thing is my only hope now. I ran across an interesting article tonight in my search for software downloads for my site. Anne-Marie had some interesting information that I'm hoping will work as well for me as it has for her. We'll see. My site is full of recipes, crafts, and my main focus which is an online shopping section. The craft section is small right now, though. Time will tell where this thing is going to go. Hopefully to bigger and better things!
