I’m very happy that I lost weight today. You never know how long a stall can last. It could be anywhere from a day to several weeks!

Grilled Chicken Salad with Sliced Oranges and Melba Rounds

Well, there it is! This was my lunch for today. I had 3.5 oz grilled chicken over romaine lettuce with 2 tablespoons of fat free italian (15 calories), 1/2 orange and 2 melba rounds!

For dinner, I ate the exact same thing, except the the lettuce was iceberg instead. Here are the breakdowns for calories in case you are curious:

Lunch:

100 grams chicken breast: 114 calories

136 grams orange (1/2 an orange): 64 calories

79 grams romaine lettuce: 17 calories

2 melba rounds: 25 calories

2 Tbl. Wishbone fat-free italian dressing: 15 calories

Lunch Total: 235 calories

Dinner:

100 grams chicken breast: 114 calories

113 grams orange (1/2 an orange): 53 calories

155 grams iceberg lettuce: 28 calories

2 melba rounds: 25 calories

2 Tbl. Wishbone fat-free italian dressing: 15 calories

Dinner Total: 235 calories

GRAND TOTAL: 470 calories even!

*I had to come back and edit this entry. I figured the calories in the salad dressing incorrectly. Wishbone fat free italian is only 15 calories for 2 tablespoons! I could have eaten about 30 more calories on this day. bummer!
