I just love scrambled eggs. Yum! Who says you need cheese to enjoy them? Onions add wonderful flavor without all of the added fat.
Ingredients:
1 egg + 3 egg whites (118 calories)
1/2 c. fat-free low sodium chicken broth (7.5 calories)
1 onion (varies in calories)
Salt
Black Pepper
Gather all of the needed ingredients for your recipe. Chop onion and set aside.
Add black pepper to eggs and scramble. Set aside.
Cook chopped onion in chicken broth over medium-high heat until onions are tender and chicken broth has reduced.
Add scrambled eggs to onions. Stir occasionally while cooking.
Continue to cook until eggs are almost done. (I like my eggs just slightly wet, so I remove them from the burner at that point). If you like your eggs well-cooked, continue to cook over medium-high heat until completely done. Remove from heat. Pour onto a plate and serve!
Servings: 1
