This is an interesting question that I have seen numerous times. Well, in my opinion, YES, it’s worth it!

If you do your homework on this diet, there has been a massive outpouring of people that follow the protocol. It’s amazing to me that people have lost 20, 50, 100+ pounds.  Doctors and clinics are now offering this diet at crazy prices of $1000! I have heard that many of them even change the original diet protocol, giving people 800 calories daily, added food that was never on the original list, as well as protein supplements, etc…

The original protocol is all that you need! You do NOT need fake supplements, extra calories, or foods that aren’t on the list.

Okay, so this diet is work, but I think it gets easier the longer that you stick with it. Set small goals for yourself. If you can do something for 21 days, then you have formed a habit. Keep telling yourself that you are doing this for YOU! You are worth it. I am worth it. I don’t want to be fat anymore.

I really loved Weight Watchers when I was following the program two years ago, but I got tired of weighing my foods. I got tired of figuring up points. I just lost my enthusiasm. Once you get through phase 2 of this diet, you can start to learn how to eat. First, by eating a high protein/fat and low carb diet… then, by slowly introducing carbs and starches back into your diet. This way, you can start to learn what your body can or cannot handle. You will not be deprived.

Go to the Yahoo Groups and read all about the experiences of HCG dieters. It’s well worth your time!
