I wanted to give you an idea of the things that you will need to buy in order to follow this diet.

1) HCG: You have a choice of Homeopathic HCG (HHCG), injections, or sublingual HCG. If you choose to buy the homeopathic drops, you will only need the drops. No mixing required!

If you decide to buy the real HCG, you will need to buy supplies for injections or sublingual. After you receive all of your supplies, you will have to mix up your HCG.

As I understand, HHCG works just as well as the real thing… for MOST people, anyway.

2)Weight Scale: This is a must have. You will need to weigh yourself every day. Choose a digital scale which goes down to either .2 or .1 so you can get an idea of your weight losses and gains. The small numbers count on this diet, especially since you will be weighing yourself every day!

3)Food Scale: You will need a food scale in order to weigh your food. I would suggest a good quality digital food scale. I started out using a cheap scale that I bought from Wal-mart, and it doesn’t seem to be very accurate. Accuracy counts when you need to stay under 500 calories.

4)Measuring Tape: You will need to purchase a measuring tape so you can keep track of your inches lost. After all, this protocol is called Pounds AND Inches! When you are not losing weight on the scale, you just might be reshaping and losing inches all over your body. You need to know what your body is doing! My absolute FAVORITE measuring tape is the MyoTape. I bought myself a MyoTape 2 years ago while on Weight Watchers. I love it!

5)Food: Of course, you need the food!

Here is a list of approved foods that you can choose from:

Meats: beef, chicken breast, veal, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp.

Veggies: asparagus, cabbage, cucumbers, red radishes, celery, tomatoes, fennel, onions, green salad, beet greens, spinach, chard, or chicory

Fruit: apples, oranges, or grapefruit

Bread: grissini or melba (look for one around 23 calories)

Other options may include lemon juice, salt, pepper, apple cider vinegar, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc.

Tea, coffee, plain water, or mineral water.
